Balmer Lawn Hotel and Spa are delighted to announce that Beresford’s Restaurant has earnt another AA Rosette for their iconic 4-star hotel in Brockenhurst. The standard of produce and talents of chefs in the New Forest, has put the area firmly on the culinary map.
Located in the heart of the New Forest surrounded by the regions famous free roaming ponies, the independently owned, 53-bedroomed hotel is home to Saltus Spa, two swimming pools, outdoor leisure activities and caters for weddings, events and conferences. Owners Chris and Alison Wilson have heavily invested in the refurbishment and renovation of bedrooms, public areas, the restaurant and spa. The hotel is a fifteen-minute walk from the mainline railway station (90 minutes to London).
Executive Chef Chris Wheeldon said “I’m extremely happy and proud that we’ve achieved a second rosette. We’ve worked hard to refine our menus with consistency and precision, and two rosettes reflect that. Our ingredients are local, seasonal and what’s ready for harvest from our small kitchen garden”.

He and his team deliver our diners exciting dishes that reflect the flavours of our surroundings.
