Food and fun in equal measure
The New Forest Food Festival
The New Forest Food Festival in August celebrates the best of local produce with an eclectic mix of pop-up food stalls, artisan food markets, cookery demonstrations from world-class chefs, craft bars, cocktail bars, craft stalls and demonstrations, live music, children’s entertainment and much more.

There’s an artisan food market where you can enjoy a selection of breads, cheeses, chilli jams, cakes, chocolates, gluten-free treats, craft ales and other local brews, and botanical gins.
Food pop-ups include Tex-Mex favourites, stone-baked pizzas, street food, traditional spit roasts, fresh seafood, artisan coffee, craft beers, award-winning spirits – pretty much whatever might take your fancy.
The craft market features the creations of local and regional artisan talent including paintings, woodwork, collectables, ceramics, sculptures textiles, jewellery, soft toys and more.
The chef demonstration area showcases local chefs cooking their personal favourites and entertaining you with cheeky short cuts and their tricks of the trade.
Live music adds a light festival feel to the day, and a picnic near the band is an idyllic way to spend an hour.
Then there’s a whole host of children’s activities and entertainment.

Held in August at Hinton Admiral in the National Park, check out their website for times, ticket prices and more information on the event.
