Historic, iconic and great fun!
The New Forest & Hampshire County Show
Brockenhurst is home to the amazing New Forest & Hampshire County Show – an annual three-day agricultural show held at the end of July and attracting a staggering 95,000 visitors.
It’s a celebration of our fantastic local farming community and regional food and includes lots for all the family, for animal lovers, equestrian enthusiasts – and of course, foodies!

Dating back to 1920, this is one of the UK’s most iconic county shows – its agricultural focus is still its heart, celebrating the local farming community.
There’s livestock on display, including cattle, sheep, and poultry, while show jumping is a major feature along with a full range of equestrian classes and livestock competitions featuring pigs, cattle and sheep as well as sections for poultry, rabbits, cage birds, and honey bees.

Unsurprisingly though, it’s the food and drink section which we love the most, along with the newly created food court.
The Festival of Food showcases more than 40 stands selling a selection of food and drink from across the world, from cheese to biscuits and bakers to brewers, from Mediterranean sensations to Asian delights. Then there’s three beer tents including a Beer Festival in the Commoners Drift.
The local produce market features Hampshire Fare members, and top chefs host masterclass demonstrations.
A special peaceful picnic area is hosted by the Forestry Commission so bring a blanket and you can eat the delights you’ve bought right there and then.
This is a foodie’s heaven, and great fun too!

The event is held at The Showground, New Park, Brockenhurst, Hampshire, SO42 7QH.
