Business South
Business South is a leading business network and champion for the Central South UK region, bringing together businesses, investors, public sector organisations, universities and strategic partners to champion the region and its economic potential. Covering Hampshire, Dorset and West Sussex, Business South connects more than 2.7 million people and a diverse economy spanning maritime cities, world-class universities, ports, businesses and innovative sectors.
Through its events, partnerships, action groups and investment activity, Business South creates opportunities to connect, collaborate and influence the future of the region. Its work focuses on promoting the Central South as a place to invest, live, work and grow — championing regeneration, infrastructure, skills, innovation and sustainable economic growth, while ensuring the region has a strong voice nationally and internationally.
Business South also champions the Central South’s thriving food, drink and hospitality sector. Its annual Central South Food & Drink Trade Expo brings together regional producers, hospitality businesses, buyers and industry decision-makers to showcase locally produced food and drink. In 2027, the Expo is evolving into the Central South Food, Drink & Elevate Trade Expo, bringing together food and drink, hospitality, catering and cleaning to create an even bigger platform for businesses, innovation and collaboration across the region.
