Grown. Produced. Made.

Hampshire and the Isle of Wight have a natural local larder, one we’d argue is as good as any other across the British Isles.

A close community of producers, farmers, foragers, chefs, pubs, hotels, and businesses make the very most of it.

It’s our job to support them in that.

Showcasing produce, championing people

Established more than three decades ago, Hampshire Fare now has more than 350 members, a community of like-minded people who often share opportunities and face challenges together.

We host member events, which are opportunities to start conversations and to learn from each other. We ensure the membership’s voice is heard, both locally and nationally. We offer training and specialist advice.

Members often have shared values -—quality, provenance, ecology and sustainability. One learns from the next, and they’re all willing to share.

Importantly, our role is to promote our amazing members to food, drink and artisan fans both regionally and across the UK, to support the membership commercially.

Championing local

At Hampshire Fare we showcase and champion local food, drink and artisan talent.

Our objective is to support your business, tell foodies about it and encourage consumers to support local first, and always.

We inspire consumers on and off our patch to support our Hampshire and Isle of Wight producers, farmers food businesses, pubs, restaurants, eateries, distilleries, breweries, bakeries, cafes, tea and coffee houses.

Why local? Because it’s the best quality, fresher, healthier and more sustainable. Buying local supports the region’s producers and small businesses.

So, this website is a celebration our local larder –and our location on the stunning south coast.
