Winchester BID: Spooky Winchester

This October half-term, explore Winchester on a free Halloween-themed trail from Saturday 17 October to Sunday 1 November 2026 organised by Winchester Business Improvement District (BID).

Hunt for nine hidden letters in pumpkin signs displayed in local business windows. Use the trail map to explore the city, find all nine letters and unscramble them to reveal a spooky nine-letter word! Find the letters. Solve the word. Win a hamper!

Collect your trail sheet from the Visitor Information Centre, The Arc or Winchester City Museum, or download one to print at home.

Once completed, return your sheet to one of the three locations to receive a Halloween treat and enter the prize draw to win a Halloween-inspired hamper.
