Lime Wood Hotel

Set in the heart of the stunning New Forest National Park, just an hour and a half drive from London, and 20 minutes from the coast, Lime Wood is laid-back luxury at its best – the perfect secluded hideaway.

The 33-bedroom house was five exciting years in the making and is the result of a rich collaboration of creative talent. The architecture was designed by Charles Morris and Ben Pentreath, with interiors by David Collins and, more recently, Martin Brudnizki, Rob Angell and Susie Atkinson.

In the kitchen, Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder combine their much-admired styles at Hartnett Holder & Co, our relaxed Italian restaurant rooted in seasonality and local produce.

At Herb House Spa, nature is never far away. The rooftop gym opens directly onto the Roof Garden, where you can roll out a mat for yoga among the herbs. Inside, the hydrotherapy pools and forest-view sauna look out to the trees, while the lap pool’s floor-to-ceiling windows slide open to the outdoors, leading you through to the steaming Hot Pool beyond. Throughout the spa, the line between inside and out is gently blurred, keeping the forest close at every turn.

The ultimate five-star countryside escape, perfect for weekend breaks, an easy dash from the city, or a restorative retreat from everyday life.
