The Road from Karachi
The Road from Karachi is a lost cookery book which was found 30 years later. Then named Indian Cookery Made Easy. Khalida and Riaz came to Portsmouth on a honeymoon then ran an Indian cookery school.They wrote a recipe book but then lost their own copy. The family looked high and low for it and no luck. Nadia their daughter then aged 8 promised to find the book and she did 30 years later. The cookery book also donates to clean water in India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal and Gaza. To date 147 water pumps have been installed through book sales, food events, specials on menus and talks.

The book was then re-created into the Road from Karachi which includes the initials of Riaz and Khalida.
