The Glass House is the newest member of the Hampshire Fare Family at Houghton Lodge and Gardens.
Just outside the charming town of Stockbridge, which straddles the River Test, sits The Glass House, a striking new tearoom at Houghton Lodge Gardens.
It’s beautiful and airy with fantastic outside seating in summer, and overlooks Houghton Lodge’s famous walled garden.
Here, you’ll discover delicious coffee, freshly baked pastries and a tempting array of breakfast and lunch dishes, all made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
There’s also a good selection of local gifts, wines and fresh bread from Hoxton Bakehouse – alongside beautiful blooms from the Lodge Florist, who has a stall brimming with seasonal flowers and foliage in the courtyard just outside the tearoom.

Houghton Lodge and Gardens
Houghton Lodge itself is surrounded by mature trees and lawns that sweep down to the banks of the River Test. The 14 acres of gardens are among the most beautiful in Hampshire, but the Glass House can be visited without entry to the gardens, which close from November until the end of April.
