Westlands at Wickham has recently opened its new farm shop in Winchester – and it’s going down a storm.
The only independent butchers in the city centre, the new shop brings a huge range of local farm produce including the highest quality meat – with beef from cattle reared on the family farm – home-grown fruit and vegetables, eggs, cheese, bread, alcohol, confectionery, freezer staples and preserves.
The family-run farm epitomises the values of Hampshire Fare, providing locally sourced produce since 2001.
They have become a hub for other local producers, whose products they are proud to champion – more than 70 per cent are local, and many are within a 40-mile radius.
Over the years they have built great relationships with their suppliers and customers, and together they support each other by being at the heart of their local community and farming ethically.
Sustainability is at the forefront of their values, and the new shop offers a variety of self-service refill stations for dried goods and household cleaning products.
Using traditional butchery methods, the knowledgeable and friendly butchery team make sure they meet the individual needs of every customer.
The meat counter offers a huge variety of meat, including free-range beef, lamb, pork, and chicken, all of which can be prepared to your specific requirements.
