Richmonds Bakery

Richmonds Bakery is an independent, award-winning bakery based in Newport on the Isle of Wight, creating seriously good bakes for customers, businesses and events across the Island and beyond. What started as a small cake business has grown into a busy bakery with a high-street shop, dedicated production kitchen, online store and rapidly growing wholesale and corporate arm.

At the heart of Richmonds is our bakery. Our team produces a huge range of handmade cakes and bakes, from our signature brownies, blondies, cookies and millionaire’s shortbread to celebration cakes, loaf cakes and seasonal specials. We also offer a growing selection of gluten-free and vegan products.

Wholesale is a huge part of what we do. We supply cafés, coffee shops, hospitality venues, retailers and other businesses with handmade bakes, offering both regular wholesale supply and bespoke products. We can work with businesses on everything from a small weekly cake delivery to large-volume orders for events, launches and seasonal campaigns.

We also specialise in corporate catering, events and branded bakes. Whether it’s hundreds of individually finished treats for an event, branded brownies for a business launch, staff gifting, client hampers or something completely bespoke, we love working with businesses to turn an idea into something delicious.

Our Newport shop is home to the full Richmonds experience, serving our cakes and bakes alongside coffee, lunch, takeaway treats and seasonal specials. We also run cake decorating experiences, children’s parties and other events throughout the year.

For customers further afield, our online shop makes it possible to order a selection of Richmonds favourites for delivery, alongside celebration cakes, treat boxes and seasonal collections.

Despite how much Richmonds has grown, we’re still proudly independent and based right here on the Isle of Wight. We’re passionate about producing brilliant products, supporting other local businesses and continuing to grow Richmonds both on and off the Island.
