Ancient forest, moorlands, rolling hills and a stretch of the most beautiful coastline.
The New Forest
Just a few minutes from the traffic and noise of the M27, you cross a cattle grid and immediately enter the timeless world of The New Forest National Park.
Ancient forest, moorlands, rolling hills and a stretch of the most beautiful coastline, the New Forest is a gem destination for a visit or a stay.
The iconic New Forest ponies roam the moors as well as the towns and villages, along with majestic Highland Cattle, the cutest donkeys, and pigs, including pannage pigs that are released into the Forest in the autumn to roam free and snaffle the acorns that are poisonous to the ponies.
As well as the most stunning of landscapes, this National Park features bustling towns and historic villages, all home to some amazing producers, produce and the chefs, pubs, restaurants, shops, cafes and farm shops that work with their local larder.
This National Park has earned its place at the forefront of the UK’s food and drink scene.
